Still Waiting

Shane's mom is so sweet. She threw a family baby shower. This is a picture of the cake. We should have taken more pictures. We have such a supportive family.

Waiting on Baby Cronin

We are 2 days past or due date (May 12th). Our doctor said everything is looking good. We are going to wait over the weekend and see if the baby will decide to come. We are so excited to meet our baby and to see if it is a boy or girl!

Since our house is 826 square feet we have to be really functional with our space. We turned our hall closet into the baby's closet. I painted it and Shane put in more shelves and more hanging space.
This is my beloved Bugaboo Stroller. I was so excited to get it. I can't wait to push the baby around in it. I also love my Petunia Picklebottom bag. I bought it a few months ago. I didn't know if I should pick pink/brown because what if it's a boy but then I figured the bag was more for me. Shane has a black diaper bag that he packed awhile ago now.

My sweet friend Andrea threw me a shower along with Kellie and Ann. She is so kind because she just had a baby about one month before the shower. Here is a picture of my mom and me.

Shane and I took a "babymoon" to Victoria. It was a lot of fun and so relaxing. Here we are on the ferry.

Here is a picture of Andrea with her new baby Hudson and my friend Ann.

Random Posting

This is a picture of us at my parents house on Christmas Eve. It was so fun to have a white Christmas. Shane and I both love the snow. The more snow the better!!
Tyson and my dad made a lemon meringue pie together. My dad is starting to bake more now that he is retired. He says he is a baker not a cook. I define myself more of a cook than a baker. I have enjoyed talking with him about kitchen gadgets etc.

A picture of me when I was little.

A picture of Shane when he was little. I think he is pretty cute. If we have a boy I think it would be fun if he looked like him.

Kim's kids came over and played with Tyson in the snow!

Selling our Place

Living Room

Second bedroom or office

Kitchen

I am trying to get the word out that we have our townhome for sale (by owner). If you know of anyone interested could you please have them email me at odykes9@hotmail.com . I have put a little description below. We are not moving far when we sell. We are planning on staying local.

This is a 2 bed/1 bathroom townhome for sale by owner. It also has a one car attached garage. It was built in 1995. We are the second owners. When we moved in 2 years ago we made a lot of changes and updates to the place. We added granite countertops in the kitchen and bath, fresh paint, installed a sitting bar area (granite), brush nickel pendant lights, and other minor updates. We are considering selling it fully furnished as a negotiable option. Please email odykes9@hotmail.com or call 206-354-1694 with any questions or to arrange a time to see it in person. We love this place but are selling because we have our second child on the way. It could also be a great investment as a rental. It is walking distance to Starbucks, Lake Wilderness, and the gym. It has easy access to highways 169 and 18.Asking Price-$225,000.

My Dad's Retirement

My dad had his last shift at the fire department Thursday through Friday morning. Since it was his last night at the department we suprised him with friends and pie. It was honoring to see how many people showed up for my dad. Some of his friends that were not on shift that night stopped by to see him. So, as we left I was wondering if he was going to have a nice night without any calls. Well, at 3:30 am they got a call of a fully engulfed house fire. They worked on this house until 6:30 am. Many probably don't know but it is rare to go to a fire let alone a big one. King 5 news was there and they ended up interviewing him. What a way to end your 33 years of service. Dad, I love you and you will never know how proud I am of you!

He showed the guests some of his equipment.

I picked Amy up and surprised her with decorations on my car!
